Qurbani is a very important act of worship for able Muslims to partake in worldwide during the blessed month of Dhul Hijjah. This is a sacrifice of an animal, sheep, goat, cow, buffalo or camel, that occurs during the celebration of Eid al-Adha to commemorate the Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) sacrifice and reflect his love, devotion and obedience to Allah (SWT). Ibrahim (AS) received a test from Allah where he had to sacrifice his son, Ismail (AS). Because of his commitment and loyalty, Allah spared Ismail’s life and sent a ram to be sacrificed instead, which began the worship of Qurbani for Muslims to show this commitment themselves and also help those in need.

At House of Giving, we offer various options for your Qurbani donations to suit your budget and choose the vulnerable communities you want the meat to go to. We split our Qurbani donations into specific bands that cover different areas, such as India, Sudan, Pakistan and Palestine. Our Qurbani country appeal provides struggling families living in poverty, crisis and hunger all around the world with vital sustenance to help save their lives.

Online Qurbani in India and Somalia

With our online Qurbani in India and Somalia, we offer shares in a larger animal, which is equivalent to 7 shares that cover 7 people’s Qurbani. Due to this, we’ve made our Qurbani more affordable to encourage more people to donate and, therefore, help even more struggling families in India and Somalia. Even just contributing to one share in a larger animal can make a meaningful difference in countless people’s lives. Your donation can be the only time they get fresh meat and brings hope, health and happiness during the blessed Eid al-Adha.

Qurbani Online for Where the Need is Greatest and Family Qurbani

As well as our various band options for your donation, we offer options that cover where the need is greatest and also the opportunity to purchase a whole large animal to help so many more hungry and needy people.

Our need is greatest option ensures that your sacrifice is carried out and distributed in regions that rely on the support. These are places where people can’t easily access food and basic necessities and where lives are at risk.

As for our family Qurbani option, this lets you donate a whole large animal to help multiple families have substantial meals during Eid al-Adha. This option gives you the chance to offer more than your Qurbani share and can allow you to do the sacrifice on behalf of others – all while feeding the hungry and helping them survive.

The Cost of Qurbani for Where the Need is Greatest and Family Qurbani

The cost of our Qurbani for where the need is greatest is £82 a share and will directly go to impoverished areas and remote locations that have limited access to the basic necessities, helping to save their lives. Our family Qurbani costs £224 for the full large animal and it’s a way to help as many people in need as possible, reaching so many vulnerable families and spreading joy during Eid.

Eid Qurbani for Ash-Sham (Palestine/Syria)

We also offer Eid Qurbani for Ash-Sham, which helps those in Palestine and Syria who are facing unimaginable devastation through the ongoing conflict. Resources and basic necessities are very difficult to transport and reach these needy people, meaning that they don’t get regular access to food and necessities that they need to survive. We allow you to give your Qurbani share to these desperate people to help provide them with the nutrition they need to end their suffering and give them comfort and hope for a better future.

How Much is the Sacrifice for Ash-Sham (Palestine/Syria)?

As getting the meat into these conflict zones is extremely difficult, the cost of our Ash-Sham Qurbani is greater, but the impact you make is massive. The cost of this Qurbani is £450 for a share in a larger animal, and it goes directly to those facing conflict and violence daily to help them survive and enjoy the blessed occasion of Eid.
